Marcus, MFT, MHC
Phyllis has resided in South Florida for 20 years. Graduating
form Barry University, she obtained a dual Masters in Marriage & Family
Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. She has over 20 years experience
working in the Human Services field with diverse populations.

Ms. Marcus worked for five years with developmentally challenged adults.
She worked closely with Jewish Child and Family Services in Denver,
Colorado and was instrumental in the development and management of an
adult group home during this period; she assisted Jewish Russian immigrants
to access community, health and financial resources.
She has worked therapeutically with abused children, troubled adolescents
and families. Her personal understanding and professional studies of
women's issues has been extremely helpful in working with people facing
Domestic Violence issues.
Phyllis has experience as a Case Management Supervisor and Therapist
at Henderson Mental Health Center, working with individuals, families
and facilitating support groups for people with mental illness.
As a Post-Modern therapist, Phyllis assists individuals and families
to recognize their strengths and abilities that allow them to develop
greater self-understanding and live in greater harmony within the world.
